The sense of community created through student housing is an essential part of the Highlands College experience.

Apartments are leased through a corporate leasing agreement Highlands College has with nearby apartment complexes. Resident Assistants (RAs) are chosen each semester to oversee student housing. They are trained and equipped to handle the needs of students within housing.


Housing Guidelines

  1. Student Housing is ONLY available to those in the ACML Program during the day. (Ages 18-24)
  2. Prices depend on the apartment size. Available leases offered are: 2 and 3 bedroom units, assuming 2 students per room, and 10 month leases. Monthly payment plans are available for student convenience. Payments are due at the 1st of every month and a $100 late fee will be charged after the 5th of every month.
  3. Housing prices include a premium for utilities such as: power, water, sewer, trash, and internet. If apartment exceeds alloted premium, then student may be required to pay the additional amount.
  4. Students may request their own room within a unit but will be required to pay double the amount listed above.
  5. If a student becomes past due in rent more than 30 days, they will be subject to financial lock on their student accounts and possible withdrawal from Highlands College.
  6. No pets of any kind are allowed.
  7. Should a student choose to withdraw or be dismissed due to disciplinary actions, fulfillment of the legally binding lease is required in accordance with its terms.
